Workshop on e-Learning by SEAMOLEC and DBE3 USAID
|
SEAMOLEC and DBE3 USAID are working in collaboration to conduct a series of workshops on e-learning.
The first workshop was a three-day workshop conducted at the SEAMOLEC building on the 18-20 of May 2009. The objectives of the first workshop were to develop common perceptions related to quality in e-learning, and to develop standards for production of quality e-learning, and included discussions about the Most Critical Challenges and Creative Pedagogical Strategies.

The workshop, attended by 30 participants from SEAMOLEC staff, teachers from Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, AMIK Wahana Mandiri, SMA YPHB Bogor, and SMKN 25 Jakarta, was designed to meet the needs of the participants. The facilitator demonstrated to the participants how the learning should be autonomous and learner-centered.
Analisis of existing online e-learning materials provided the participants with additional insights and information related to how e-learning materials should be developed. Towards the end of the workshop, participants working in groups tried to design e-learning materials as an exercize. The first workshop emphasized the basic concepts of e-learning, and the second phase will be more focused upon the technical aspects. Dates and venue will be determined later. Thank you very much to DBE3 USAID.
