High Achieving School
SMPN 1 Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang, North Sumatera

SMPN 1 Tanjung Morawa is well known for its achievements. The students participate regularly in competitions in sports, arts and other areas. With good leadership from the Principal Drs. Suryadi, the school continues to make positive changes.
After participating in BTL2 and BTL3 training, SMPN 1 Tanjungmorawa made significant changes in the teaching and learning processes. The seats in the classrooms are arranged in groups. The classroom walls are full of students' work. The school grounds are used for learning. These changes are warmly welcomed by the students. I like the way I learn at school now. In Biology, for instance, we learn about reproduction using models of organs. I found it easy to understand and fun.
