Children conducted an experiment where they heated water with a candle and noted down the time and the temperature of the water. They used the data they collected to make a graph (see next page). The students wrote a report on the experiment themselves. This is important. Students have to be able to explain things in their own words, not just memorize what the teacher tells them!
